Customer Luv Surveys ("we", "us") provides post-purchase survey software for Shopify stores. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
Data we process for merchants
- Store configuration: your shop domain, survey questions, targeting rules, and integration settings.
- Survey responses: answers submitted by your customers, together with the order reference and the email address associated with the order, so responses can be attributed and synced to your marketing tools.
How data is used
Survey data is processed solely to provide the service to the merchant who installed the app: displaying analytics, enabling CSV export, and forwarding answers to integrations the merchant enables (such as Klaviyo). We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or share it across stores.
Storage and security
Data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated requests from the installing store's Shopify admin.
Data retention and deletion
We honor Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks: customer data deletion requests remove that customer's responses, and store deletion requests remove all data for the store within 30 days. Merchants can also request deletion anytime at hi@customerluv.app.
Shoppers
If you completed a survey on a store's order page, the store you purchased from is the data controller; contact them (or us) to access or delete your responses. Surveys are always optional and every question can be skipped.
