What is Customer Luv Surveys?

A lightweight post-purchase survey app for Shopify. It asks buyers one question at a time on the order confirmation (thank-you) page and the order status page — the two moments with near-100% attention — and stores every answer in your dashboard.

How much does it cost?

It's free during our private beta. When we launch on the Shopify App Store, pricing will start around $9/month — a fraction of what incumbent survey apps charge for the same core features.

Does it slow down my store or checkout?

No. It's built on Shopify checkout UI extensions, which render inside Shopify's own checkout sandbox. There's no theme code, no script tags, and zero impact on storefront speed or checkout performance.

Can I ask different questions based on what the customer bought?

Yes — that's the flagship feature. Create question sets targeted by product keywords (e.g. 'prenatal'), duplicate a set in one click, and retarget the copy at another product. Buyers only ever see the survey that matches their order.

Can I offer a gift after the survey?

Yes. Every question set has its own thank-you message and an optional gift button — for example, 'Claim your free His 3-pack 🎁' linking to a discount URL. Surveys become a cross-sell moment.

Does it integrate with Klaviyo?

Yes. Answers are forwarded to Klaviyo as a 'Post Purchase Survey' event and saved as profile properties (like survey_source), so you can build segments and trigger flows off survey answers immediately.

How many questions can I ask?

Up to 10 per question set. Questions appear one at a time with progress dots, and every question is skippable — respectful surveys get higher completion rates.

Where do the answers live? Do I own my data?

Answers are stored in Customer Luv's database, visible in your in-admin dashboard, and exportable to CSV anytime. Your data is yours — export it or ask us to delete it whenever you like.

How is this different from Fairing or KnoCommerce?

Who built this?

Store owners. Customer Luv was born inside Root'd, a supplement brand that needed exactly this and didn't want to pay enterprise prices for it. We run it on our own store every day.
